Rostering, notes and compliance for aged care teams
Cover every shift with the right people, keep police checks and training in date, record what happened on each shift against the client, and hand payroll a timesheet with the allowances already applied.

Built for care teams with a compliance load
Shift notes that build a record
Your own shift report form, with checklists, a 1 to 5 rating and a client picker, filed at clock-out and reviewed by a coordinator. Every client has a timeline of what was done and by whom.
Checks, training and sign-off in one place
Police checks, First Aid, CPR, manual handling, medication competency and infection control with expiry dates and reminders, plus policies staff read and confirm in the app.
Incidents, complaints and restrictive practices
Incidents go in from a phone with photos and severity and reach managers straight away. Complaints and restrictive practice records sit in their own registers with monthly exports.
Rosters that respect the award
SCHADS and aged care pay presets, minimum engagement and broken shift warnings, sleepover windows and overtime premiums on the pay template, and penalty rates applied on the timesheet.
Also in the box, at no extra cost
- Timesheets with GPS clock-in and payroll exports to Xero, MYOB and KeyPay
- Leave, availability and shift reminders
- Team messaging and announcements
- Policies with read-and-confirm sign-off
- Incident, complaints and restrictive practice registers
- Client and progress note imports from your current system
- Staff app on iOS and Android plus a web portal for workers
- Family portal with shared reports, budgets and statements
Paying under SCHADS or another care award?
Pay templates ship with SCHADS presets and award rules for minimum engagement, broken shifts, sleepovers and vehicle allowances, and the roster warns as you build. Your rates stay yours: confirm them against your award or agreement once and the roster and timesheets apply them.
Aged care questions
Does it suit a residential service or only community care?
Both. Rosters work by location and role for a residential service, and by client for community visits. Notes, incidents and credentials work the same way in either setting.
How do staff see their shifts?
In the Shiftbreeze Care app on iOS or Android, or in the web portal on a laptop. Shifts arrive the moment you publish, with reminders before they start.
Can we keep our existing notes?
Yes. Clients and progress notes import from a CSV export of your current system, with each note keeping its original date and author.
Is there a minimum team size or contract?
No. It is $10 per active person per month, month to month, with a 7-day free trial and no credit card to start.
